Culture and History
The historic farm complex of the Ferme de Gy includes a barn with richly carved wooden decorations. The Ferme de Gy also offers heated and air-conditioned barns for events in a historic monument dating from the 17th and 19th centuries.
Part of Giez’s former water-powered metallurgical network still runs beneath the courtyard of the Ferme de Gy and leads to a lower-lying reservoir. In the village center, the Church of Saint-Barthélémy features a Sardinian neoclassical style characteristic of the 19th century.
