Culture

Villelongue is home to the Church of Saint Martin, a Romanesque church dating from the 13th century. Its high altar features a tabernacle with caryatids dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. The church also contains reliquary busts of Saint Orens and Sainte Patience, his mother, which originate from the Prieuré de Saint-Orens.

The Chapelle Sainte-Catherine d'Ortiac was built at the end of the 17th century. Its linden-wood roof structure is particularly noteworthy. The chapel also contains an original gilded wooden altarpiece with a statue of Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
