Hiking
The PR 86 circular trail “La Boucle des Orgues” is 5.4 kilometers long, takes two hours, and is considered very easy. It leads to unusual sculptures in the Catalan mountains that were shaped over time by erosion.
Thirteen hikes are listed for the Osséja forest. Two hiking guides are also sold at Osséja Town Hall.
The PR 92 hiking route “La Marche des Contrebandiers” runs from Osséja along the Vanéra to Castellar de n’Hug.
Culture
Le Puigmal cinema is open year-round from Tuesday to Sunday. A permanent exhibition honoring Daniel Delestré, opened in Osséja in 2026, is located on the first floor of the community center next to the cinema entrance. Admission to the exhibition is free and it is open to the public. Daniel Delestré was an influential figure in the municipality, was passionate about cinema, and served as mayor from 2001 to 2019.
The Église Saint-Pierre d’Osséja contains a painted panel from a polyptych depicting Saint Sebastian, Saint Anthony Abbot, and John the Baptist. This panel has been classified as a protected cultural object since September 10, 2012.
The former church of Osséja has been mentioned since the 9th century, during the Carolingian period.
Leisure
The lake below Osséja is a tranquil body of water with several landscaped areas, including picnic and barbecue areas. In summer, it offers pedal boats, inflatable games, and a landscaped leisure area.
Festi' lac takes place every year in the third week of August in Osséja.
