The original building has a basement level made of sandstone rubble masonry and a ground floor with a timber structure and wooden roof framework. The restored Scierie Martin has been brought back to life through activities offered by the Maison de la Nature des Vosges Saônoises. At the Scierie Martin, a water wheel powers the saw frame and its carriage.
