Nature
Lac du Forlet lies in a former glacial cirque with steep rock faces. It is also called Lac des Truites and is located near the Gazon du Faing nature reserve. At the Ferme-Auberge of the same name on Lac du Forlet, guests can enjoy a typical marcaire menu, Munster cheese and fruit tarts.
Trails and Terrain
The Le Tanet natural climbing site is equipped and has routes graded from 3c to 6b. It can be reached via the D417 in the direction of Tanet; it is a 10-minute walk from the car park of the Ferme-Auberge Seestaedlé.
For the “Les Deux Lacs” circular hiking trail, follow the D417 from Münster towards Col de la Schlucht and turn off towards Le Tanet about 5 km after Soultzeren. The circular trail passes the Ferme du Gaerstlesrain; further up on the left is the Club Vosgien’s Chalet Erichson, which is open to everyone.
Culture
The Protestant church of Soultzeren was built in 1782 to replace a wooden building. It was partially destroyed by the bombardments of 1915. The new Protestant church of Soultzeren was inaugurated on 16 December 1923.
Culinary Delights
The Chèvrerie du Londenbach offers tours and goat milking demonstrations. It sells organic goat cheese made on the farm and raw milk.
