Four castle courtyards at Helfštýn Castle are currently open to visitors. Steel walkways lead through all levels of the palace to a viewing platform overlooking the Moravian Gate valley. In the palace cellar, five rooms house exhibitions on artistic metalworking; the collection comprises more than 1,300 items.

Culture
The permanent exhibitions of the Comenius Museum in Přerov Château cover almost 1,200 square metres. At Hustopeče nad Bečvou Château, the visitor attractions include a courtyard, a lapidarium, a picture gallery, and museums dedicated to butchery, film, and cooking stoves. Tovačov Château presents the estate’s owners, its architectural and historical development, and significant historical figures.
Nature
ORNIS is located near Michalov Park and the Žebračka National Nature Reserve. Waterfowl can be observed year-round at the confluence of the Strhanec and Bečva rivers, near the centre of Přerov.
A total of 139 bird species have been recorded in the Žebračka National Nature Reserve, including 79 breeding species. Michalov Park is a cultural monument and a protected landscape feature with early-20th-century garden architecture and floodplain flowers.
A wooden observation point above a small, gradually silting-up body of water enables the observation of birds, amphibians, invertebrates, aquatic flora, and characteristic floodplain trees.
The shortened educational trail in Přerov is approximately five kilometres long, has eleven stops, and is suitable for families with small children. A five-kilometre route leads in Přerov from the château grounds to the banks of the Bečva and to the Lagoon Park; it can be completed with a pram or bicycle.
Trails
The Bečva Cycle Route connects Hustopeče nad Bečvou, Hranice, Lipník nad Bečvou, Přerov, and Tovačov. It is intended for cyclists and pedestrians; skaters can also use it where the surfaces are suitable.
The Valašské Meziříčí–Přerov section of the Bečva Cycle Route can be reached by train. Bicycles can be carried during transport as luggage or in the luggage compartment.
The Hranice Abyss can be reached on foot from Teplice nad Bečvou railway station via an educational trail or from the Hranice campsite via the red tourist trail markings.
Region
Tovačov lies near the confluence of the Morava and Bečva rivers. Hanácká kyselka is a gastronomic product associated with the Přerov region.
