The Krkavčí skály sandstone massif features the Vyhlídková rock observation platform, from which the Ještědský hřbet ridge can be seen. The rocks are used by climbers.
Nature
Above Křižany, the Solvay quarry is open to the public. The three-level Solvay quarry on the Ještědský hřeben ridge was still in operation in the 1920s. The Rozsocha mountain is located in the vicinity of Křižany; the Ještěd, Pískový vrch and Sedlecký Špičák mountains are also located in the surrounding area.
Culture
The originally Gothic Church of St. Maxmilián in Křižany dates from 1384. It is a single-nave church with a rectangular floor plan and a polygonally closed presbytery. A tower built in 1684 stands on its western side. The interior features late Baroque furnishings, including an altar, painted panels, a wooden gallery and a rural organ.
Stará škola Křižany was declared a cultural monument in 1996. It is located on the yellow-marked hiking trail between Pruský kříž and Malý Ještěd. Cultural events have occasionally been held there since 2021.
Cycling
The Ploučnice cycle path is signposted as cycle route No. 15 and is almost 100 kilometres long. The first stage begins at Křižany railway station.
