At Libá Castle, the “Passage of Time” exhibition explores the past, present and future of the castle and château. A large part of the visitor route serves as a gallery. During the tour, visitors also have the opportunity to climb the tower, which serves as a lookout tower and offers views of the surrounding area.
Culture
St Catherine’s Church was extensively remodelled in the Baroque style from 1753 to 1763. After its reconsecration on 9 October 1763, it was dedicated exclusively to Saint Catherine. Historically, the filial church of St Catherine stood on a rocky promontory in the municipality of Libá, near the former castle.
Nature
Libá lies in the valley of the Libský potok. Connected with the municipality of Libá is the Rathsam Nature Reserve, which is one of the specially protected natural and landscape areas. It preserves natural sections of the border rivers Ohře and Reslava, along with the adjoining wetland, meadow and forest communities containing numerous rare and endangered plant and animal species. The Smrčiny Nature Park, which is one of the areas of general nature and landscape protection, is also connected with the municipality of Libá.
In the immediate vicinity of Libá is Blatná Hill [Libá]. The Pfaffenberg and Rabenberg mountains are also located in the surrounding area. These geographical features complement the Libský potok valley with named elevations in the nearby and surrounding area.

In the wider regional surroundings of Libá are the Erika Fuchs House Museum of Comic and Language Art, Wappenstein Mountain, Waldstein Castle Ruins and the “Zwota Church, Church”. Bad Brambach Church, St Michael’s, is also located near Libá.

The starting point of the route in question is in the centre of Libá. Covered benches, bicycle racks and rubbish bins are provided at designated stopping points.
