Prčice: Hotels and Accommodation
Accommodation in Prčice
The historic center of Prčice developed around a manor founded by the Vítkovci in the 11th century. Prčice lies in the basin known as “Český Merán.”
History and Architecture
The Church of Saint Lawrence in Prčice is originally Romanesque and was founded in the 11th or 12th century. The Plague Chapel in Prčice was built after the plague epidemic of 1680 at a burial site for plague victims.
The Karla Burky Bridge was completed in 1822 as a direct connection between Sedlec and Prčice. The 200-meter-long bridge is designed in the Empire style and has three vaulted openings. At that time, an early feudal trade route between Prague and South Bohemia ran through Prčice; its course can be recognized in the layout of the town.

The “From the Vítkov Rose to the Miraculous Spring” educational trail has eleven information boards with play elements. It connects to existing hiking trails and mostly old hollow ways. A signposted 17-kilometer hiking route begins in Prčice and leads via ski areas and their viewpoints to Sedlec.
