Kosova Hora Castle comprises a tower from a former fortress, first mentioned in 1416. In the second half of the 16th century, the castle was rebuilt in the Renaissance style; Gothic masonry has been preserved in the central part of the present-day building.

Culture

The Church of Saint Bartholomew in Kosova Hora is a single-nave church that originally dates from the 14th century and is of Romanesque-Gothic origin. The Kosova Hora Synagogue was built around 1630 in the Baroque style.

The synagogue can be visited year-round except on Saturdays and Jewish holidays; guided tours must be arranged by calling 604327295. Exhibitions, chamber concerts, lectures, and other cultural events are occasionally held there.
