Culture
The parish church of sv. Jana Nepomuckého in Štěchovice was newly built and consecrated on 23 October 1915. It stands on a hill; its tiered roof resembles the surrounding hills on the horizon. The church’s design combines motifs of Art Nouveau, antiquity, Byzantine, Romanesque and Renaissance architecture.
The tower museum in the church of sv. Jana Nepomuckého has been open to the public since August 2020 and features an exhibition about life in the parish.
Hydropower and Reservoir
The visitor centre at the Štěchovice hydroelectric power station offers free guided tours by prior arrangement. These tours include a visit to the machine hall of Štěchovice I and the outdoor switchgear with its transformers.
The Štěchovice Reservoir was built between 1937 and 1945 and is clad in granite.
