Culture and history
The Chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene was added to Dolní Břežany Chateau between 1885 and 1887. Hradišťátko is an early medieval fortified settlement on a promontory in the western neighbouring area of the municipality of Dolní Břežany. The fortification has been preserved as a sharp edge; the former rampart is best preserved on the south-western and eastern sides, and a ditch was also dug in front of the rampart.
Landscape and trails
The viewing platform of the observation tower on Hradiště Závist is located at a height of 24 metres. The observation tower on Hradiště Závist has 128 steps. The 16.3-kilometre route “Via Šance to the Károvské Valley” passes through the Šance section of Hradiště Závist, where visible remains of Celtic defensive ramparts have been preserved.
