Function and professional adjustment
The binding transfers movement and can release the boot under certain loads. Its behaviour also depends on boot, sole, ski and components. A damaged or unusually stiff set should not be used. Before skiing

Dry the equipment in a ventilated place away from strong heat. Look for cracks, loose parts, rust and damaged soles. A suitable bag protects it during transport. Ski care for bases and edges does not replace a binding check. Also inspect helmet and goggles.
