France in winter 2010-2011 is generous for entertainment. This year, the French are looking forward to a successful winter season. So where can tourists go skiing in France?
Updates and discounts - virtually every ski resort in France tries to upgrade its infrastructure for the New Year and Christmas. Many of the resorts have prepared special programs for family holidays in France. Flain ski resort in Grand Massif region – already this winter there will be available after upgrading the main gondola of the resort, newly opened slopes, as well as two new hotels.
The resort of Les Gets invites everybody, who will book hotels from 18 to 26 December, for discounts on accommodation and ski passes. After reservation of 6 nights the 7th night at the Les Gets hotel is offered free of charge. Those who will book 4 or more seven-day ski passes are provided for a 10% discount.
Vaujany ski resort in 2010-2011 season will open the first line of the new six-seat gondolas and will offer its guests a new blue trail.
La Toussuire ski resort in the pre-Christmas week from 18 to 26 December represents numerous programs for children with sleigh rides and a free tasting of French crepes.
Christmas in Val D'Iser - here the organizers also prepared a surprise for children: free ski passes and free rental of equipment when booking rooms from 18 to 24 December.
One of the largest ski resorts in France Serre-Chevalier on December 19-20 invites to the «Rock on Snowboard» festival, which has already gained popularity among snowboarders in Europe.
Four ski resorts in France this year are united into one region Les Grands Espaces. They are Ossua, La Norma, Valfreuisse and Val Ceni Vanoise. From now on the ski slopes of these resorts are available on a single ski pass eSki-mo.
La Plagne ski resort this season will present a new luxury Hotel Club in Plagne-Montalber. Hotel Club will work on all-inclusive system.
Hotels in Courchevel – there is also expected a replenishment. Courchevel 1850 resort will present a new hotel Le Strato.
Morzine ski resort will present this season a special 4-hour lift pass, which can be used in any 4 hours of the selected day.
