Culture
The Oratorio di San Rocco was built around 1570, extended by a nave in 1597, and reopened to worshippers on 13 June 1999 after restoration. Its construction is dated to the late 16th century, when it served as protection against the plague.
Above Bedano, in the forest, lies the La Madonnina della Valle Barberina chapel, which was inaugurated in 2010. Traditional crafts are also part of the local character: the Gruppo Creativo Bedano recreated the traditional production of roof tiles and bricks, shaped both and fired them in a kiln heated to 1,050 degrees. A social dairy cooperative in Bedano began operating in 1890.
Landscape
Bedano’s foothills are characterised by forests; there are only a few open green spaces around the mountain settlements. In the landscape plan, PA1 around the town centre and PA2 around the riale Balberina are designated as landscape protection zones.

The Strada Regina thematic route runs between Gambarogno and Caslano through Bedano and several other municipalities. Along the Strada Regina, visitors encounter chestnut groves, historic villages and houses, churches, and fortifications. An official path climbs from Bedano to Arosio.
A restored path connects the Bacino vecchio area with Prematt. Bedano’s forest road, also known as the fire road, is appreciated by many people as a recreational area.
