The two places described represent different ways of spending time outdoors: at the playground with its various pieces of equipment and seating, or at the beach among pebbles and lawn.
History
The bathing pavilion in Chez-le-Bart was built in 1907 after a fire destroyed its predecessor. The municipality of Gorgier moved the building to the port of Chez-le-Bart and had it restored in 2000. It stands on a wooden, pagoda-shaped platform and contains separate changing rooms for men and women. Its construction history therefore includes the fire that destroyed the previous building, its subsequent relocation and its restoration, while the shape of the platform and the layout of the rooms further define the pavilion architecturally.
The Lavoir de Brénaz in Gorgier is a protected public washhouse; it was placed under protection on 16 March 1987. The rectangular building has eight oak posts on bevelled limestone bases and a two-part cement basin. The washhouse was first mentioned in the community's accounts in 1668 and was restored in 1986. The chronological sequence of its first mention, restoration and protected status remains distinct from the structural details.
The three Pierres du Guénégou are partially toppled menhirs at the foot of a possibly man-made mound.
Architectural heritage
The Château de Gorgier is a picturesque neo-Gothic residence on a rocky promontory surrounded by two streams and overlooking the lake.
For a hotel in Gorgier, the travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions can be considered separately. These three details describe different parts of an accommodation offer. Depending on the dates selected, the stated conditions may vary. The room category identifies the type of room offered, the travel dates define the time frame, and the cancellation conditions specify the applicable rules of the offer. This keeps these details clearly distinguishable from one another.
