Nature
Pointe du Grain is designated as an exceptional nature reserve. Along the lakeside path, pebble beaches invite visitors to relax and swim. Petit-Cortaillod beach has changing rooms with showers and outdoor showers.
Culture and History
The upper village and Petit-Cortaillod feature paved historic streets. Cortaillod is also home to Neolithic traces dating back around 6,500 years. Cortaillod-Est refers to a lakeside pile-dwelling village from the Late Bronze Age, founded around 1000 BC.
Cortaillod-Les Esserts is the largest of several archaeological sites on the lakeshore in the Bay of Cortaillod. The Via Cluny hiking trail also connects several places: it leads from Bevaix along the lakeshore to Pointe de Cortaillod and on to Corcelles-Cormondrèche.

Cortaillod's winegrowing region includes a wide variety of officially approved grape varieties.

Château de Gorgier is located in the vicinity of Cortaillod and is an attraction classified as a castle. Montagne de Boudry, a mountain, is located nearby. Le Signal, a hill, is also in the surrounding area.
