Hiking and landscape
The Salis Trail is a fully marked hiking trail spanning 8.5 kilometers, connecting Malans and Seewis and reaching the Fadärastein viewpoint. From Fadärastein on the Salis Trail, the view extends across the Rhine Valley.

Alpine traditions
Six alpine pastures are managed in the municipality. Historically, cheese, butter, and Ziger were produced in the local alpine huts from 1877 to 1985.
A former dairy hut has been operated as a museum since 1988; another hut serves as accommodation for the calf herder during the alpine summer.

Cauma is located in the immediate surroundings of Seewis. The surrounding area includes the northern summit of Piz Riein, Lägerbiel, and Pala da Tgiern. In the wider regional area are Paspels Castle, Rietberg Castle, and the Chur Animal and Leisure Park.
