Landscape

The Ballenberg grounds stretch between Hofstetten and Brienzwiler above Brienz. More than 30 different crafts are presented in the workshops. Ballenberg is also home to farm animals, which can be seen in meadows and stables.

Routes and Orientation

From Brienzwiler train station, you can reach the village center on foot in about 15 minutes. This route involves ascending approximately 125 meters in elevation. The Zwergliloch circular trail leads around Brienzwiler in about one hour.

The Brienzwiler tourist office is located in the Gässlihaus. For hikes, Anna’s Dorfladen offers sandwiches and provisions. The shop places importance on regional freshness; the bread comes directly from the baker.
