The Hontianske Museum was re-established as a municipal museum in 1992 and has operated as a publicly accessible exhibition space in Šahy since 1995. It presents permanent exhibitions on the ethnography and history of the Hont region and organises social science lectures and local history excursions. This brings together different forms of public cultural life: museum exhibitions, temporary art exhibitions, lectures, excursions and a cultural centre in a restored historic building.

In the historic centre of Šahy, the structure and character of the commercial houses dating from around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries have been preserved. The remains of a Premonstratensian monastery also still stand in Šahy today.

Also pay attention to the services included, individual price components and the applicable booking and cancellation conditions. An accurate comparison of these fields makes different offers easier to understand and helps you clearly distinguish the contractual details relevant to your travel planning before making a decision. When viewing and comparing offers, you can first check the exact location, the type of accommodation and the intended occupancy. It is also worth looking at which services are actually included, how the price is composed and which booking or cancellation conditions apply. This keeps the verifiable differences between the offers visible. What matters here are the specific conditions of the respective listing, not a general expectation of the stay. The review can also help distinguish optional services from those already included and fully understand the contractual details before making a decision. In each case, what is expressly included or excluded in the specific listing remains decisive.
