Mizerna: Hotels and Accommodation

Mizerna lies on the slopes of Lubań and along the Mizerzanka stream at approximately 600 metres above sea level. In the lower part of the village, there is a lakeside marina with equipment rental and boat trips on Lake Czorsztyńskie.

Geographical setting

The upper part of Mizerna, facing the Gorce Mountains, has preserved its traditional character. This means that different landscape features can be found side by side within the village: the hillside location on Lubań, the Mizerzanka stream, and the lakeside marina in the lower part of the village.

Nature

In the vicinity of Mizerna lies the Modrzewie nature reserve on Girowa Góra. It protects a naturally occurring stand of Polish larch covering an area of 10.43 hectares.

Culture

Mizerna is home to the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, which was built between 1989 and 1991. Some of its paintings come from the former Church of St. Nicholas in Maniowy and have been restored.

Near Mizerna are Niedzica (Dunajec) - Zamek and Niedzica - Zamek XIIIw. Majerz and Runek are also nearby.
