Voiandes has a medieval village centre, historic traces and impressive natural landscapes. Several routes pass through the village and its surroundings; they differ in their course and means of transport.

Voiandes has a medieval village centre that gives the village a clearly recognisable historical character. In addition, there is the Church of San Vincenzo Ferreri and Sant’Antonio da Padova. It dates from the mid-18th century and is therefore one of the specific historical points of reference within the village.
The traces extend further back in time beyond the village centre as well. Materials from a pre-Roman settlement were found near Voiandes. The Brasa Valley was also located in the region surrounding Voiandes. It was once home to water-powered mills, sawmills and forges where metal and wood from the forests of Alto Garda Bresciano Park were processed.
Another testimony to the area’s religious past stands on the road from Voiandes to Secastello: a wooden cross is located there, once marking a meeting point for prayers and processions of supplication. Its current location and former function belong to different periods and should therefore be considered separately.
Routes through the landscape and village
The Paesaggi agricoli tremosinesi route follows Sentiero 110 of the Bassa Via del Garda to Voiandes. It passes through the village and then continues towards Vesio. The route is suitable for families and bicycles.
Another route is connected with the road from Voiandes. With the exception of its initial section, it follows a present-day cart track that climbs the western slopes of Monte Cocca. The trail leads to Malga Pra di Toni and then continues to Cargadora.
The Bike Tour – Le Frazioni route is also relevant for cyclists. It includes Voiandes and Sentiero 110. Compared with the Paesaggi agricoli tremosinesi route, the focus here is on its connection with a cycling tour; both routes pass through Voiandes via Sentiero 110.
The Discover Mills and Old Forges circular trail begins in LocalitĂ La Pertica near Voaindes and then passes through the village of Voiandes. Its starting point is therefore not directly in the village, before the circular trail reaches it.
The Cammino del rispetto also passes through Voiandes. The ninth stage runs from Voiandes along an unpaved road towards Ca del Lupo and Sermerio. The unpaved surface and the route towards Ca del Lupo and Sermerio distinguish this stage from the routes explicitly associated with bicycles, families or a circular trail.
Further activities around Voiandes
In addition to these trails, there is a Horse Riding Itinerary. It is also suitable for beginners and can be enjoyed in all seasons. Horse riding therefore complements the options focused on the village and landscape with an activity that does not require any particular experience.
The routes begin, run and end in different directions. Paesaggi agricoli tremosinesi follows Sentiero 110 through Voiandes towards Vesio, the Cammino del rispetto heads from Voiandes towards Ca del Lupo and Sermerio, while the route via Monte Cocca leads to Malga Pra di Toni and then onwards to Cargadora. Together with the circular trail starting from LocalitĂ La Pertica, this creates a varied yet clearly distinguishable selection of trails.
