Maria Trens: Pilgrimage and Art
Those looking for cultural and religious points of interest in Maria Trens will find several different options. The Chapel of Grace near Maria Trens was built in 1726/27. The statue of grace in Maria Trens is carved from Swiss stone pine, depicts Mary with the Child and, according to a South German scholar, was created around 1470. The pilgrimage church of Maria Trens features Rococo furnishings, including, in particular, a ceiling painting by Joseph Adam Mölk. Rococo is an 18th-century style that can be seen in the furnishings of the pilgrimage church.
Reifenstein Castle and Castel Tasso
Reifenstein Castle is also known as Castel Tasso, is located in the municipality of Freienfeld and is one of the best-preserved and most historically and artistically valuable castles in South Tyrol. Trails around Trens
The pilgrimage trail from Sprechenstein to Maria Trens was created in 2001 and comprises 14 stations. The 14 stations can be included in planning as individual stops along the trail. The Bee Trail in Trens begins at the cultural centre in the village centre and leads for two kilometres through forests and meadows southwards towards Valgenäun. Along the Bee Trail in Trens, information panels and interactive stations provide information about the life of bees and the production of honey and other bee products. The Bee Trail in Trens is suitable for strollers. With a trail length of more than two kilometres, the Bee Trail can be included in the day's itinerary as a separate walking section.
The Trens–Valgenäun circular hike leads from the pilgrimage site of Maria Trens along a walking trail to the hamlet of Valgenäun, with its historically and culturally interesting Church of St. Valentine, and is suitable for strollers.
Panoramic Mountain and Mountain Lake
Cima di Stilves (Zinseler), in the municipality of Campo di Trens, is a panoramic mountain suitable for the whole family and is ideal for tours at sunrise and sunset. The times of sunrise and sunset mark early and late time windows for the tour, respectively. Another mountain hike leads from Pfulters to Lake Puntleider. It follows trails No. 16 and 14 and leads to Lake Puntleider at an altitude of 1,850 metres.

Rofis Boden in Stilfes offers a small natural pond, extensive green meadows, a barbecue area, a pavilion and a playground made of natural materials. Rofis Boden can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot; due to the limited number of parking spaces, travelling by public transport is recommended.
