La Dogana Reale on Via Sibaud in Bobbio Pellice houses the headquarters of the Centre for Alpine Culture. The Monumento Sibaud can be reached from the centre of Bobbio Pellice via a path or road, with a pleasant walk of approximately 30 minutes. The Monumento Sibaud was inaugurated in 1889 as part of the celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the “Glorioso Rimpatrio”.

The Museo del Podio exhibition is housed in a restored 19th-century quartier school, where some furnishings are still on display. The Museo del Podio is part of a historical tour opened in 2020 that connects significant sites in the municipality of Bobbio Pellice associated with events from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The Località del Podio witnessed a pact in 1561 between the Protestant communities of Val Pellice and Alta Val Chisone in Dauphiné. The documented history of this place therefore dates back to the 16th century and also includes the memory of the “Glorioso Rimpatrio”, whose 200th anniversary was commemorated in 1889 with the inauguration of the Monumento Sibaud.
Natural areas and trails around Val Pellice
The Conca del Pra is a postglacial geomorphological area. Its basin landscape was formed after landslides blocked the valley floor following the retreat of the Pleistocene glaciers. The Conca del Pra is part of the Natura 2000 SAC Oasi del Pra - Barant. From Villanova, the Conca del Pra can be reached via the TOS115 trail and via a gravel road with regulated access.
The Gran Tour del Monviso can be started from Val Pellice via the Conca del Prà. One access option is via the SP161 to the hamlet of Villanova di Bobbio Pellice, where the car can be parked. A gravel road runs through the Oasi del Barant. The paved road through Valle Carbonieri leads to Pianoro Barbara, from where walks in nature are possible.
The ascent through Valle Carbonieri to Rifugio Barbara Lowrie is frequently used by cyclists and mountain bikers. One route leads from Rifugio Barbara Lowrie via Colle Barant at 2,373 m to Rifugio Willy Jervis at 1,732 m. The elevations given mark Colle Barant as the higher point and Rifugio Willy Jervis as the lower destination on this route.

At Alp Partia d'Amount 1, the milk processed on the alpine pasture is used to make Toma and ricotta.
