Part of the Taceno area belongs to the Grigna Settentrionale Regional Park. This makes the town interesting for visitors who would like to combine their stay with impressions of nature and the landscape. The section of the Torrente Pioverna flowing past the town is used by sport anglers. Thus, alongside the protected landscape area, the watercourse also provides a specific point of reference.

Hikers can reach Parlasco from Taceno via the old Bissaga mule track. This connection is of particular interest as an independent trail reference for guests who do not want to limit their stay exclusively to the town centre.
