Archaeological evidence: A funerary masso avello, meaning a tomb carved into a boulder, dates from the 2nd or 3rd century AD and was later reused as a basin for the water supply system. For a longer outing, the Bellagio Trekking 7 hiking route connects several specific landmarks. It reaches the Croce di Civenna via a short detour to the right, which takes just a few minutes and leads to a viewpoint over the village and the lake. If you divide the hike into timed sections, you can plan the few minutes to the Croce di Civenna as a short addition within the route. The Belvedere car park, the route's starting point, can be reached by car or on the C36 Bellagio–Asso bus line. There is water near the GPS track at Cascina Giacinta. For planning breaks, you can include a stop on the hike near the GPS track at Cascina Giacinta. Along the route from Civenna to Monte San Primo, you will also find the Fòò Sec, a distinctive beech tree approximately 200 years old.
