Trail routes and elevations
Sentiero 627 runs from Via Costa dei Muratori in Cenate Sopra to Cà dei Muratori. Sentiero 607A climbs to Val Calchera at an elevation of 549 meters and then descends to Plasso at 500 meters, where it joins Sentiero 607. For day planning, Sentiero 607A can be divided into an ascent to Val Calchera followed by a descent to Plasso, where Sentiero 607 is reached. At Colle Gallo, the endpoint of Sentiero 609 lies at 820 meters, and is therefore above the 549 meters of Val Calchera and the 500 meters in Plasso.

The parish of San Leone Magno in Cenate Sopra was officially founded on April 27, 1611. In the church of San Leone, the Assumption of the Virgin Mary painting was restored in 2021 as one of Moroni’s five works.

The church of Santa Maria Assunta di Misma was built around the year 1000 and features Romanesque architecture from the 12th century as well as 17th-century altars.
Access to the churches
