Historic Sites in Runaz and San Brizio
Maison de Mosse in Runaz was built between the 14th and 15th centuries by the lords of Avise on the edge of the ancient Roman road. Late Gothic windows from the 16th century are still preserved at Maison de Mosse. The archaeological remains of the Via delle Gallie in Condemine di Runaz include a substantial retaining wall on the valley side. Thus, the two named locations feature an individual building and archaeological remains with different historical focuses.
The bell tower of the parish church of San Brizio was built around 1400. The Museo di arte sacra is located in the parish church of San Brizio. The bell tower and museum therefore belong to the architectural setting of the same church, while Maison de Mosse and the Via delle Gallie are associated with Runaz and Condemine di Runaz respectively. With its approximate duration, the walk can be planned as a separate short part of the day's itinerary.
