The Geising church was rebuilt in 1689 as a simple baroque hall church with three-story galleries. Inside stands a Gothic winged altar from the predecessor church, dated to around 1530. Another historical trace can be found in the Erdbach valley, where the entrance to the Silber-Stollen mine gallery has been preserved as evidence of earlier mining.

Next to the building at Altenberger Straße 4 stands a stone cross retrieved from a stream. A knife or falchion is engraved in the cross. This detail suggests that it was erected as penance for an act of violence.
