Culture

The Schwarzenberg Chapel in Kelberg was built in 1719 on the 562 m-high Schwarzenberg hill. The chapel contains an altar with a central Pietà, flanked by Saints Aloysius and Augustine. The west tower dating from 1250 has also been preserved at Kelberg’s St. Vincent Parish Church.

Trails and Experiences

The Kelberg History Trail is a 13 km hiking trail with 15 information panels mounted on basalt columns, beginning at Kelberg Market Square. The History Trail also includes the 5 km circular route “Volcanoes, Water and Knowledge,” with six History Trail stations.

The Kelberg Forest Experience Landscape is suitable for the whole family and for pushchairs. Its interactive stations include a jumping challenge with forest animals and a spider web climbing element.
