Culture

Rascheid’s church, now dedicated to Saint Anne, was rebuilt in the 18th century. Gothic remains have been preserved in the choir; the former tower, once covered in ivy, was converted into a sacristy, and the west tower dates from 1847. The SS Special Camp/Hinzert concentration camp memorial is located near Rascheid.
