The trail can be accessed from the village square in Gräfendhron. The distance between the community center and the hiking trail is approximately 250 meters. There is no direct public transport connection to the Dhrontal-Wackentour.
History
Gräfendhron is located on the Roman Ausonius Road and was first mentioned in an official document on May 3, 1255.
There is a Catholic chapel in the village center, which was completed in 1785. The listed Catholic subsidiary church at Kapellenstraße 1 is a small stucco building dating from 1785.
The bridge on Hauptstraße is a two-arch rubble-stone structure dating from the 18th or 19th century. The former mill at Im Dhrontal 4 is marked as a linear farmstead with the year 1872.
