Culture and History
Kimratshofen is believed to have been founded as early as the 8th century; at the same time, its foundation is associated with the historical figure Chunibert. The village has bakeries, a butcher’s shop and a village inn.
Between Kimratshofen and Frauenzell lies the pilgrimage hamlet of Gschnaidt. It consists mainly of two chapels and an inn; numerous pilgrimages visit the chapels.
