Listed Heritage Sites in Ulrichsgrün

At Ulrichsgrün 1 there is a listed historic agricultural complex. It includes a barn dated 1724 and a block-built Troadkasten dated dendrochronologically to 1787. The two years refer to different buildings: The barn is dated 1724, while the Troadkasten has been assigned to 1787 through dendrochronological dating.

At Ulrichsgrün 3 and 3a there is also a former farmhouse dating from around 1830/40 and a farm chapel with furnishings bearing the year 1865. The farmhouse thus explicitly belongs to the site's earlier history of use. The farm chapel is a separate architectural testimony within this local context and bears the year 1865; its furnishings are also part of the chapel.

The farm chapel at Ulrichsgrün 3 is a gable-facing building with a pitched roof, a bell turret with a roof, and the year 1865.

Glass Grinding and Regional Marketing

The history of glass grinding in Ulrichsgrün is also connected with the Grassl glassworks. It was one of the glass-grinding works in the Ulrichsgrün valley and ceased operations in 1964.

Regional orientation also includes direct sales from Gaby Bauer. These take place through a farm shop and farm-gate sales, as well as at the farmers' market in Waldmünchen and EDEKA Kohl.
