Culture
The German Phonograph Museum presents the history of St. Georgen's phonograph industry as well as the development of mechanical sound recording and playback. It was founded in 1972 through the merger of the private phonograph collections of two residents of St. Georgen.

Hiking
St. Georgen has a published network of 220 km of hiking trails. The St. Georgen Heritage Trail is a 16 km hiking route. The signposted hike to the source of the Brigach begins at Klosterweiher and reaches the Brigach spring near Hof Hirz.
