Isny im Allgäu is a spa town in the Ravensburg district, in the Württemberg Allgäu, and on the border between Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. The town is located in the western Württemberg part of the Allgäu region and lies along the Upper Swabian Baroque Route.

Culture
In the immediate vicinity of Isny im Allgäu is the Grabenstrasse Defensive Wall. The ruins of Altratzenried and Ansberg are also located in the surrounding area; in the wider regional area lies the ruin of Hugofels.
St. George's Abbey in Isny is a former Benedictine abbey. It was founded in 1096 and secularized in 1802. In the late 12th century, the abbey helped establish Isny as a market town; in 1235, Isny received municipal status.
