The Glacière d'Evires was established near Évires railway station in 1889 to produce artificial ice.

The former Glacière d'Evires covered an area of 3.23 hectares. It was served by a branch line connected to Évires railway station.

The first Saint-Jean-Baptiste church in Évires was built before the 15th century in the hamlet of La Côte. In 1867, the church was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style. Its bell tower was raised by 11 metres in 1998; the new tower received two new bells.

The Musée de la Poterie Savoyarde displays more than 2,000 ceramic objects dating from the 12th century to the early 20th century. It is housed beneath a wooden structure typical of the Bornes Plateau and dating from the 19th century.
