Chyšky: Hotels and accommodations

Chyšky is home to the Church of Saint Procopius. It is originally Romanesque and preserves its Romanesque presbytery area.

Culture and history

The Church of Saint Procopius in Chyšky was burned down by the Hussites in 1420 and subsequently rebuilt. In Chyšky, the local church is considered the only larger local landmark.

The Jewish cemetery near Chyšky was established at the beginning of the 18th century. Today, around 50 gravestones remain there; the cemetery is freely accessible.

Nature

The Chyšky area is part of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. In summer, hiking and cycling are possible in Chyšky.

The mountains of Javorová Skála, Jenšovice, Smrčí, and Zvíkovec are located in the surroundings of Chyšky.
