Nature and Trails
A red-marked hiking trail runs through Vlčkovice; the 40 km route of the “Toulání kolem Orlice” event also passes through the village. Studený vrch is one of the mountains surrounding Vlčkovice. The Mladkov–Letohrad route via Studený vrch passes through Vlčkovice and then climbs Studený vrch; it can also be travelled by bicycle.
Traditions and Culture
At the annual “Stavění máje” tradition, residents gather in the village square of Vlčkovice on 30 April to decorate and erect a maypole.
The reconciliation cross “Smírčí kříž ve Vlčkovicích” is located in the cadastral area of Vlčkovice u Mladkova. It bears an inscription with the year 1750; its lower part features a relief of a skull and crossed bones.
Chapel and Services
Services are held in the Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Vlčkovice on the second Saturday of each month: at 17:00 during winter time and at 19:00 during summer time.
