The Zásada Ski Centrum has two downhill slopes. The children's slope is approximately 100 m long and suitable for beginners. The second downhill slope is approximately 500 m long, clearly laid out and 100 m wide.

Nature
Zásada lies at the foot of the Jizera Mountains below the Černostudniční hřeben ridge. The mountains Pustina, Černá Studnice and Maršovicky vrch are located in the surrounding area. Mariánská hora is located in the vicinity of Zásada, while Valdštejn Church is in the wider regional surroundings of Zásada.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint Prokop is the most significant monument in Zásada. It was built in the Baroque style in 1749 and contains an ornately carved altar and oil paintings. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1823 is considered a valuable example of folk architecture.
Glass has been produced in Zásada to this day. The glass bead division of Preciosa Ornela is based in Zásada. By prior arrangement, ATLAS Zásada enables visits to the handmade production of costume jewelry and fashion accessories made from small beads.
Events
The traditional Zásadská pouť is a family event held at Kapelní louka next to the Chapel of Saint Prokop. The family music festival ZasTenRock has been held in Zásada by SK ZÁSADA since 2012; the venue is the football stadium grounds. Loutkové divadlo Prokůpek regularly performs mainly fairy-tale plays for children at the Sokolovna in Zásada.
