Unterägeri: Hotels and Accommodation

In winter, Camping Unterägeri provides access to cross-country ski trails and nearby ski resorts.

Nature

The Unterägeri Trail leads across the open plain of Unterägeri, with green fields and views of the mountains of Zug's uplands and Lake Ägeri. From Wilbrunnen, Lake Ägeri becomes part of the trail's scenery. The section of the Alpine Panorama Trail from Einsiedeln via Unterägeri to Zug also runs through hilly landscapes and along lakes. Camping Unterägeri is located within the Lake Ägeri nature conservation zone.

On the way

The Unterägeri Trail is a 7 km circular route with a walking time of approximately 1 hour 40 minutes and 80 metres of ascent. An optional detour leads to the lakeshore of Unterägeri. One stage of the Alpine Panorama Trail ends at the Unterägeri municipal building, at the Unterägeri Zentrum bus stop.

The Brand–Rossallmig barbecue area offers open views of the surrounding landscape and can be reached on foot from Unterägeri via hiking trails. The Unterägeri–Halsegg–Zuger Alpli cycling route reaches just under 1,400 metres above sea level.

Leisure

Lido Unterägeri has a sandy beach, a sunbathing lawn, water slides and diving towers. Lake Ägeri offers musical, family adventure and culinary experiences. Camping Unterägeri also provides a base for hiking.

History

Unterägeri is one of the places where industrial history can be explored as part of guided tours.
