Nature
The NStCM railway serves five stops in the municipality: Saint-Cergue, Les Cheseaux, Les Pralies, La Givrine and La Cure. The La Givrine stop provides access to an extensive network of cross-country ski trails and hiking paths that run through pastures and forests.
Culture
During the autumn Désalpe, decorated cattle pass through the village among craft stalls and crowds of visitors. The route through Saint-Cergue was used by the Romans. A document from 1110 records Saint-Cergue and the Church of Saint Cyrique, from whose name the place name is derived. In 1299, a castle was built in Saint-Cergue to protect the route.
