Landscape

The Septimer Pass is used by cyclists and hikers, while the Maloja Pass attracts numerous cyclists in summer. History and Culture
San Gaudenzio was once a much-visited pilgrimage site. Above Casaccia stands the late Gothic Church of San Gaudenzio, a historic religious building first mentioned in 998 and built in 1518. Casaccia is also home to the Cunvent, a building dating from 1520, as well as the Toracia ruins, the remains of a medieval watchtower above the village.
