Trails and stories
The Märliweg, a fairy-tale trail with six themed stations, runs between Bever and Spinas. Along the trail, stories by Engadin authors are brought to life through sculptures by local artists, audio stories, an interactive quiz and a storytelling character. The route leads through meadows and small forests, can be walked in both directions and is suitable for all-terrain strollers.

Nature and landscape
Piz Utèr is located in the immediate vicinity of Bever. Sass Nair, Spih dal Buoch and Piz Vadret are also situated in the area around Bever.
The upper Val Bever is a wild, undeveloped landscape, particularly around Beverin. Val Bever has designated landscape and nature conservation zones; the entire valley was designated a quiet zone in 1973.
Getting around
There are two barbecue areas near Beverin along the Bever–Spinas route. Restaurant Spinas has a terrace and a playground for children.
A horse-drawn bus operates in Val Bever. The Rhaetian Railway connects Bever, Spinas and the surrounding villages.
