Landscape
The settlement stretches along both sides of the Schüss in the eastern part of the Vallon de Saint-Imier. Cortébert includes the Schüss valley basin, the Montagne du Droit and the Chasseral range. The broad ridges are home to Jura high pastures, including the Prés de Cortébert.
