Curon Venosta lies directly on the shore of Reschensee. The peaks Cima Termine, Monte Cavallo, Klopaier Spitze and Cima Plaies are located in the immediate vicinity of Curon Venosta. The Romanesque bell tower in Reschensee
A Romanesque bell tower rises out of the water in Reschensee. The Romanesque bell tower in Reschensee dates from 1357. The submerged bell tower is the only visible remnant of the villages of Graun and Reschen. The villages of Graun and Reschen were completely submerged in 1950 when the lake was dammed. The tower therefore originated long before the damming that caused the two villages to disappear beneath the lake. The year the bell tower was built and the flooding of the villages belong to two different historical periods.

The Chiesetta di Sant'Anna was consecrated in 1521 in the late Gothic style. The Chiesetta di Sant'Anna stands on a hill overlooking Reschensee. Curon lies directly on the Via Claudia Augusta cycling route. Snowkiting is practised at Curon's kitesurfing spot. Snowkiting is a winter sport in which a kite is used to move across snow.
