Skiing and winter activities in Sauze d'Oulx
Sauze d'Oulx is one of the villages in the international Vialattea ski area and is connected to the other villages in the area by numerous ski lifts. The Vialattea ski area offers 400 km of skiable routes across more than 300 slopes. Sauze d'Oulx's inclusion in this ski area associates the village's name with an extensive range of winter sports, without attributing the entire route length to the village alone.

Vialattea's snow park is located in Sauze d'Oulx and includes jumps, kickers, rails and wall rides. In Sauze d'Oulx, Vialattea also has a Baby Fun Park with inflatable structures, designed to help small children make a playful introduction to skiing. The Adventure Village in Sauze d'Oulx is aimed at families and young people of all ages.
Church, fountain and historic town centre
The Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Giovanni Battista was built in 1532 in the heart of the old settlement of Sauze d'Oulx. Its furnishings include an imposing wooden choir loft and an 18th-century altarpiece on the high altar. The bell tower of the Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Giovanni Battista is built in the Dauphino-Romanesque style. The church can be reached on foot and by car and has no architectural barriers.
The Antica fontana di Sauze d'Oulx is an octagonal fountain built in the 16th century and located next to the Church of San Giovanni Battista. The Antica fontana di Sauze d'Oulx stands in Piazza Assietta and is also easily accessible to people with reduced mobility. The church and fountain are therefore located at named historic sites within Sauze d'Oulx.
Hiking and cycling between two valleys
Sauze d'Oulx offers hikes and cycling tours through coniferous forests or along watershed ridges between the Susa Valley and the Chisone Valley. A circular route starting and ending at the Sauze d'Oulx tourist office leads through the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Nature Park and along part of the network of military roads on the watershed ridge between the Susa Valley and the Chisone Valley. The circular route described therefore starts at the tourist office and returns there.
A route from the Stazione Sperimentale Alpina to Lago Laune at around 2,043 m is approximately 1.52 km long and takes about 45 minutes. The route has the easy difficulty rating T. A hiking trail from Gran-Villard-Laghetto to Monfol is approximately 1.9 km long, takes about 40 minutes and has the moderate difficulty rating E. The two routes can be distinguished by their separate details regarding starting point, destination, length, duration and difficulty rating.
Near Lago Laune, visitors can buy cheese at the Malga Alpe Laune.
