Ermanno Magazzeni and the Dialect

Ermanno Magazzeni (1920–1978) was born in Ornano Grande and lived there all his life. He was a dialect poet and author of plays in the dialect. His dates of life, from 1920 to 1978, fall entirely within the 20th century.

The historical administrative affiliation changed. In 1742, Ornano Grande belonged to Tossicia and was assigned to Castiglione della Valle in 1815.
