Culture

The Bismarck Tower in Altenkirchen was built between 1914 and 1922, stands on Johannisberg, and is used as a viewing platform. The Hermann Löns Memorial was erected in 1937 by hunters from Altenkirchen as a memorial to the writer and hunter Hermann Löns. Altenkirchen is also home to the intercultural garden “Querbeet”.
