A second signposted circular trail also starts in Rohrstetten, leads along a forest road to the Gunthersteig, continues via Zueding and returns to Rohrstetten. This trail is also approximately 5 km long and is considered easy.

A signposted destination hiking trail to the observation tower on the Brotjacklriegel also starts in Rohrstetten and covers approximately 7.5 km. The tower offers panoramic views over the Lallinger Winkel and the Danube Valley; the route includes ascents and descents.

Brotjacklriegel, Aschenstein, Hirschenkopf and Mühlbauerberg are located in the area surrounding Rohrstetten. The spa park is located nearby.

History

Rohrstetten has been documented since 1148 and is considered the oldest documented settlement in the municipality. Its historic character is associated with the Gunthersteig, an old route that passed through Rohrstetten and connected the Niederaltaich and Rinchnach monasteries.
